Governor’s Landing is a small, lushly landscaped, riverfront townhome development in downtown Wilmington. It is located off Nun Street near the Front Street intersection. The community is comprised of nine units. Each is nearly 3,000 square feet. All units have at least three bedrooms and three and a half baths.
Our favorite part of Governor’s Landing is its location. The property sits at the south end of Wilmington’s famous Riverwalk and enjoys sweeping views of the Cape Fear River, Cape Fear Memorial, evening sunsets, and passing ships and recreational boats. The historic Dudley Mansion and the shops and restaurants of Chandler’s Wharf are next door. The center of downtown Wilmington is only a short stroll away.
Our least favorite part of the neighbor is the townhomes are all multi-level. For some, this is an advantage, contributing to the great views. For those with mobility problems, it’s important to know there are a lot of stairs and no elevators in Governor’s Landing. In the last year only one unit has sold in the community. It closed for $1,020,000.
Each townhome is equipped with a one-car garage and a 30 foot boat slip with electricity. These popular homes rarely come on the market. For up-to-date HOA fees and pricing information, call us at 910-202-4813.
