Eileen Murphy, Exclusive Buyer Agent

Eileen Murphy is an Exclusive Buyer Agent who specializes in the Onslow and Pender County markets.

Like many transplants, Eileen and her husband moved to Coastal Carolina to escape the higher taxes and cold weather of New York. She moved in February 2018 from Long Island.

“My husband briefly lived here when he was much younger. He worked as a commercial fisherman. I’ve heard his stories for years, but honestly North Carolina was never really on our radar. I never thought I would leave New York.  And then we had some good friends move down here first and we came to visit them and I instantly fell in love with this area,” said Eileen.

Eileen spent the first two years of her career working with Coldwell Banker before deciding to become an Exclusive Buyer’s Agent.

“I want to help people discover this area. If I could work with someone moving from New York, New Jersey or really anywhere, I feel I can share my passion for this area and taking on a new adventure,” said Eileen.

Eileen has three sons and four grandchildren. One son lives in Barcelona, Spain while the other two remain in Long Island. In her spare time, she likes cooking, collecting cookbooks, decorating, reading history and watching documentaries.

“We love it here! I’ve made some great friends; we walk together several times a week. It’s been really a pleasure. We love being by the ocean. Coming from Long Island I was five minutes from the water…if you didn’t count the traffic. On a Sunday it could take an hour or two to make the drive, and then you have to pay, then you have to schlep your stuff along the parking lot. Here it is so much easier. You drive, get there within minutes, park very close to the beach, and enjoy the sun and the water without the chaos.”
