Landfall is a large, 2,200-acre network of neighborhoods centered around the County Club of Landfall, and includes a 4-mile-long stretch of waterfront property. It is located off Military Cutoff Road and Eastwood Road, across from the shops and movie theater of Mayfaire Town Center. Landfall is comprised of 24 subcommunities, that each have their own HOA. More than 5,000 residents, from 40 states and 20 countries, call Landfall home.
Residence in Landfall does not automatically result in country club membership. Those who do take advantage of the club membership enjoy the 27-hole Jack Nicklaus golf course?, 18-hole Pete Dye golf course?, 2 clubhouses with casual and formal dining?, Cliff Drysdale Sports Center?, 11 tennis courts?, Olympic-size swimming pool?, and fitness facilities and equipment. Their are three tiers of membership, which vary in amenities access and pricing. While Landfall residents enjoy a discounted membership rate, they still are required to pay initiation fees between $5,000 and $30,000, in addition to monthly fees between $100 to $700, and food and beverage minimums.
Residents who don’t belong to the country club still have access to a basketball court, soccer field, volleyball court, playgrounds, lakes, walking trails, and two internal post stations. The family-friendly community holds an annual Easter egg hunt, 4th of July festival, and Fall Festival.
This exclusive, gated community was established in 1985 and includes 1,350 single-family homes and 647 town homes. Construction continues at Landfall today. The homes are of various styles, including the colonial, tudor, cape cod and contemporary styles. The homeowners association enforces strict covenant controls and charges relatively high fees.
