Songbird Landing is one of Hampstead’s newest communities. It is located off Country Club Drive, within walking distance to the Kiwanis Park and just down the road from both the Belvedere and Olde Point golf courses.
The neighborhood is being developed by Mungo Homes. While there are a handful of homes that are complete and occupied, the vast majority of the community is either still under construction or has yet to break ground. When complete, the neighborhood will be made up of roughly 70 homes.
Buyers have the option of seven different floor plans. They range in size from 2,000 square to 3,800 square feet with larger properties offering up to six bedrooms. All homes feature open floorplan with most offering either a designated office space or a flex/bonus room. Typical features include luxury vinyl flooring in the main living spaces, vaulted family rooms, and kitchens with quartz counters, tile backsplash and stainless steel appliances.
While Songbird Landing will have a shared community green space, it will not have amenities like a pool, clubhouse or playground.
The nearest beach is 15 to 20 minutes away at Topsail Island. The city of Wilmington is a 40 minute drive south on Highway 17, and Jacksonville, is 40 minutes north, also on Highway 17.
Songbird is located in the Topsail School District with students attending North Topsail Elementary, Surf City Middle, and Topsail High.
